2014 Pinot Noir Reserve Cuvee
Color is a rich medium garnet with aromas of dark cherry, marionberry and savory herbs. On the palate, look for dark cherry and berry fruit with notes of cola and baking spice that carry into a long and rich finish. Decant to give it air and drink now and you will be rewarded with a full bodied Pinot that can pair with traditional pinot-friendly foods such as a simple grilled salmon or roast chicken and also stand up to bolder flavors like teriyaki and even a perfectly grilled steak.
(Price: $38 retail; Chieftain $30.40; Averni $32.30)
